Taiwan: Stationary Heaven

So. Much. Stationary.

There’s definitely something to be said for the bewildering array of writing implement choice on sale in Taiwan; I’m not sure if it’s reflective of the industrial state of the country (‘Made in Taiwan’ stickers known to all), Chinese language as writing form with a rich calligraphy history, or just a general sense of ‘go hard or go home’. Certainly, there is a definite sense of precise calculation in this type of pen shopping however the overall efficiency of such an endeavour is made questionable by the sheer amount of time wasted in a store full of aisles like these.

….

Then again, “wasted” is a very subjective term.
